LAVA BIO is the community within LAVA that brings together LA's surprisingly large & vibrant ecosystem of life science, biotech, MedTech, pharma, and healthcare sectors. LAVA BIO is working to create a coalition of various associations, non-profits, universities, and government agencies that each cater to a different segment of our ecosystem. LAVA BIO programs and initiatives are designed to improve the efficiency of communication, collaboration, and deal flow and provide an entry point for newcomers looking to navigate the local ecosystem. The goal of LAVA BIO is to establish a unified industry voice to the rest of the world outside our region and to tout the benefits of being part of the #LongLA movement.
